We are looking for a bright, skilled, experienced, goal-oriented Managing Director / Development Director Fundraiser and/or Grant Writer, to help lead our grant/gift/fundraising efforts; to take ownership of ELP's voice and vision. In this position, you will serve as a leader, responsible for the success, performance, and strategies of funding.. This job entails finding donors, maintaining donor relationships, and developing strategies to secure funds. This position also involves gift/grant writing, event organizing, and/or traditional campaigning. You will oversee the collection of donations, and help us boost our public image in order to attract new donors. Our ideal candidate has several years of fundraising experience. You should also have some managerial experience.
You should feel comfortable reaching out to institutional and potential donors, as well as communicating with company leaders regarding their financial needs. Our ideal candidate is someone who will be able to enthusiastically help us attain the donations needed to serve the community, and to create, execute and scale community action projects around the world. Including the process of raising funds for charitable, educational purposes from major sources: government/foundation grants, corporate gifts, planned giving, major gifts, annual appeals, special events, crowd sourcing, media and social media.
